Family Story

Coffee, for us, is a family tradition

At Mejías Coffee, coffee runs in our veins — it’s not just our business, it’s our heritage, our passion, and the rhythm of our daily lives. Our journey with coffee begins long before

the harvest. We know coffee from the very first moment we choose the seeds that will be planted in our farms — because great coffee starts with intentional decisions at the root.

With generations of hands-on experience, we’ve cultivated a deep understanding of every step in the coffee journey. From farming and processing to exporting, importing,

and local distribution of green coffee, we handle each stage with care, expertise, and a relentless commitment to quality. We don't just move coffee; we live it.

At Mejías Coffee, we don’t just supply coffee — we stand for it. We honor its roots, its people, and its power to connect communities across the globe.

This is who we are.

The story of Mejías Coffee is one of heritage, migration, and a deep-rooted love for coffee. Our journey begins generations ago, when the Mejías family emigrated from Israel to Nicaragua, bringing with them a strong entrepreneurial spirit and a commitment to hard, honest work. It was in the fertile highlands of Nicaragua that our family first connected with coffee — not just as a crop, but as a way of life. Over the years, we cultivated not only coffee trees but deep relationships with the land, the people, and the process. What began as a family farm grew into a full-scale operation spanning the entire coffee supply chain: from selecting the best seeds for planting, to processing, exporting, importing, and distributing green coffee, all the way to expertly roasting for local and international markets. Today, Mejías Coffee stands as a multi-generational company built on tradition, quality, and purpose. We take pride in being involved in every step of the coffee journey, bridging origin and market with transparency, expertise, and a passion that’s been passed down through our family for decades.
